A little preview

I forgot to add this in my last post, but here is a sneak peek of what I'm working on right now. The main focus of this is a tattoo (mentioned in my previous post) that I have just started working on.

An old drawing to keep the blog active

I won't explain much because I'll go to bed early and use ALL DAY (or as much of it as I'm allowed to) on graphics tomorrow.
I'm sorry for the bad quality, I can't be bothered to turn on the printer and actually scan any of my drawings.

I really like the pose, clothes, hair and stuff. I'm not very good at backgrounds though.

Btw is it fine that I do little updates like this or should I only post every time I have something REALLY important to say? What do you prefer? :)

3D stuff that I've been working on lately

I haven't forgotten about the graphic requests, but I have had very little time after starting at school again. (This week I went to school for the first time in over a month because of something called a lockout, a conflict where the teachers of the whole country aren't allowed to go to work.) It wasn't easy to get used to it after such a long break, and we have much more homework after missing a month of lessons.
I have some time for drawing in the bus and in the breaks at school, but making graphics looks really weird to someone who hasn't seen it before, especially when you are using a reference image and you switch between your version and the original.
I used this time to get better a using Google SketchUp, which is a free 3D drawing program. This is what I've been working on for, like, the last 3 days. (it's obviously not finished, the house needs a kitchen and bathroom and I need to colour the front door) Other than that, I've left some of the walls transparent on purpose, so you can look in. I might add a roof when the house is finished, but then it won't be as easy to see the details.

This was the first time I tried to record something on the screen, did it turn out all right?

And what do you think about my house so far? :D

Random drawing made on Pixlr

Ugh, I haven't updated this blog for so long time now. I have so many new drawings and stuff to show, but I'm too lazy to scan them all. I made this sketch right now and I actually like it :)

The only problem is that I forgot to add a new layer, so this is on a white background and I can't make a graphic out of it :/

New drawings for Pottermore

Hi. It's really late but I can't fall asleep, so I'll just post this now.
On Pottermore, I read that wizards do not have any specific fashion, only the traditional clothes and pointed hats, otherwise they just wear normal muggle clothing (you might have noticed I'm talking about Harry Potter lol), so I decided to create my own. I ended up making a collection of three outfis (maybe I'll design more). I've uploaded it on the website, but I'll also post it here.

On the third one, the shirt is based off a 'real' Quidditch uniform (I googled it).
So, what do you think? A good idea or just terribly sad? :'D

Every time I reach the very last step, to heat it for 10 seconds or something, it says I have heated it wrong BEFORE it reached the right temperature! I'm so mad at it, but I need to make it so I can open a door in Snape's office and get ingredients for Polyjuice potion to get into the Slytherin common room :D Sounds complicated, right?

New drawing!

Hello readers! I want to show you something I have made a few days ago:

It looks better in real life, my scanner destroyed it. :( Here it looks as if some places there are random dark spots. But anyways, it was based off this picture:

It is from Nicki Minaj's music video for her song Freedom. I would have chosen another place from the video at first, but my mom took my computer away, and I had very little battery left on my iPod so I couldn't play games. I decided to use it to find a picture instead, but I couldn't see the video so I found this on Google Images.

So what do you think, does it look alike? (besides the terrible scanner quality)

Wow. Time really passes by quickly, doesn't it? Almost a month has passed since my last post on here!
I have got really tired of making graphics. I'm really sorry, but I am canceling all the requests I've got.
If I ever get back to making graphics, they won't be Stardoll related. I want to use all the things I've learned about graphics for my own future, maybe someday get a job that has something to do with graphics or drawings.
I am not closing this blog down, I'll use it to post my drawings and outfits instead, and maybe occasionally other stuff. If I start making graphics again, I will post them here too.

I tried hard with the collarbone, and I think it has come out quite good.

My best drawing so far!!!

Okay, I've promised to post ALL my drawings so far and that was like ages ago and I'm way too lazy to do it. But I really want to show you my last (and best) drawing that I made on Wednesday.

Don't you think it has turned out quite realistic?
And if you were wondering, I wasn't drawing someone who I know (because I would fail miserably at that, I don't even want to try) so it's a character I made up.

What do you think? I'm really proud of it! :P

A few of my drawings

I finally found out how to use the scanner (but I'm still not really sure how to use it) and I can upload some of my latest drawings here. Now I'm supposed to be in bed or my mum will kill me, so here is one of my latest drawings - I will upload the rest tomorrow.

I think I should crop this! But I'll do it another time, I hope you don't mind. I have changed my drawing technique a bit, it looks much better than the last drawings I posted here. I know the proportions aren't realistic, but who said they have to be?

Anyway, I quite like it but what is your opinion?

Drawing on Pixlr

Yes, I made an attempt at digital art. It's pretty random. First I thought it should be my entry for the Get Creative contest or at least some practice for it, but I know I need to try a lot harder than that.
Anyway, I'm tired of random rambling and the maths lesson has just begun so here it is:

It's the most random crap I've ever done, but I decided to post it here anyway.

I'm back!

... and it's Friday evening (or should I say midnight?). It's 23:40, and I should go to bed soon, so this is just a quick update of all the drawings I made on the summer camp and the contest entry I just finished. Let's start with the drawings, then?

A pair of cute animals. Long story made short, I gave them to another girl so now I only have these photos. :-P

I think I have said goodbye to pencils for some time, because drawing with gel pens is now my all-time favorite technique! Everything looks sketchy and professionally made. Look at the drawing above, for example!

And the ones below are the results of a funny drawing game that I played with a girl called Emma. Both players have a piece of paper, and they draw a head. Then they fold the top backwards, and change papers. The same with the body and the legs. In the end, you fold them both out. Sometimes the outcomes are quite funny:

Another sketch/drawing + new look + holidays

The title says it all. While I was watching the Cars movie with my little brother for the 10000000th time (okay, it is a good movie!) I got a bit bored, because I already know exactly what's going to happen and even all the things they say. So, I made a new sketch. It's not very nice, in my opinion. But what do you think?

You might have noticed that yesterday the blog's background changed from clouds to bubbles. It's boring to always have the same blog design, I get quickly tired of it. I wasn't satisfied with it, so today I changed it again! What do you think about the new colour scheme?
You might also have noticed the new reactions instead of the rating. I'm not so good at making them, so if there's one you want to add or change any of them, just tell me!

And as the last part of this post, I HAVE SUMMER HOLIDAYS IN TWO WEEKS! Yay! So this week, starting tomorrow, is the last week of real lessons! Hopefully I will have more time for graphics, and for updating this blog!

Pixlr drawings

Today I had a lot of time, and after starting a graphic and getting really tired of it I decided to take a break. There were no new posts on my Blogger dashboard, so I decided to do something I had been thinking about for some time now: check out what Pixlr is.

And no, I'm not disappointed. Not at all, actually. It's much better than the program I use right now, so it will maybe be the place for my future graphics!

The first thing I noticed was the amazing quality of the 'pencil' tool. I fell in love with it, and started drawing. Here are the results of an hour's waste of time:

This is a sort of cartoon-drawing, I know it's not very well proportioned. But it's cute. And keep in mind that I do NOT have a tablet, so this was made without one!

Out of the about 1 hour I used on these two drawings, this one took up around 45 minutes. I am not very good at side portraits, not even when I draw on paper, but this has come out quite well.
