Sorry that you had to wait for so long, I just started it, like, the day before yesterday! But what do you think? I'm very satisfied with it, my new hair shading technique works really well! I'm maybe going to make a mini-tutorial about how I do it, for other beginners. :)

A makeover and a new banner! :)

Now I am finally done with this banner. It took a long time to make, but I am really proud of the result. It's the best graphic I've ever made!

If you take the text and bubbles off, you can see the shading properly:

A load of hard work

Woah, 3 requests and a banner! And my charger has still not been found! Today I borrowed my mom's, but she got angry because I borrowed it for five minutes and gave it back only when my computer was charged! There are only 48% energy left, two hours. How should I manage all this?
I feel bad for the people who asked, I usually finish the graphics quickly! But please be patient!

This was just a post to tell you that I haven't forgotten your requests, I'm just busy!

The weird hair sticking out at the top has been fixed. It looks a bit better now :)

Wow, it's a long time since I suggested to try to make one for her, and afterwards I got asked by other people to do banners and stuff. I figured out that banners are more important than a graphic that I suggested myself and that won't be used for anything, so I left it unfinished for some time. And now that I actually found time to do it, her skin color was different so all the shading on the skin had to be erased and redone! But I've improved loads since then, and I also removed much of the other shading and did it the way I do it now.
You should be happy, because it looks much better than it would have done if I made it a month ago!

Now that I see it again, the face looks too small and the hair sticks out in a weird way at the top. I used a hair outline from I-Dressup, but shaded it all myself. I think it looks very good, way better than with my old technique!
And I'm working on the new banner now!

P.S. I forgot the charger for my computer in the train on my way home from Copenhagen, and it will (hopefully) take 3-4 days for the train company staff to find it, and my commuter has only 2 hrs energy left! :(

I don't know who I should put in here, so the skin is not shaded yet. I tried a new technique for hair, it looks better than the old one but I need to practice on it! I will be working on new graphics when I have time, I'm in a hotel right now!

Temporary new look

When I finish all my requests (which is quite soon) I will make this blog a new banner. I have thought of a theme but it will be a great challenge for me, so if it won't look good I will make a 'normal' one - you know, my meDoll in a random pose without a specific theme. But I hope it turns out well!

I will make a new 'apply to get a graphic' page, but I guess I will add it when the new banner is ready. And you are probably getting sick of all this green so a new color scheme will be added too! :)

(I'm in such a good mood now! Well, I still have to survive through whole school day tomorrow, but it's still great to go on holidays in the middle of the week! Wait, let me explain. It's NOT holidays, my mom and I need to go to the Russian Embassy in Denmark to sign documents and stuff like that. It doesn't take more than an hour, but we are staying there for two and a half days, yay!)

Lozzyy.'s unfinished graphic/banner

Whoa, it's a long time since I posted. I don't know why, but I just sort of got tired of blogging and graphics. I needed a little break - well, not 'needed' but actually still 'need'. But on Tuesday I am going to Copenhagen with my family (yay!) for three days, and that will be my break. But don't worry, I will finish the promised graphics before that. This one is almost done, I just thought I should post it now that I have the chance. But I will probably finish it today or tomorrow.
Do you want me to add any text and/or background? If yes then describe text, color, script, background color scheme and preferably what type of background you want (e.g. pink curtains or flowers).

The hair is not colored or shaded in any way, and the hands are just rough sketches. There is not enough shading on the skin yet either, but I will fix all those things.

What do you think so far?

P.S. Someone has rated all my posts on the first page with 1/5! I can see it was one person and he/she had rated ALL the posts 1/5, not only my graphics (because it's possible that you might think they deserve 1/5) but also the makeup shots and a post with no pictures/graphics in at all! So it certainly wasn't by chance! And on the graphics that one person had rated 5/5, it now shows 3/5 and 2 ratings. It's pretty easy to calculate that the other person rated it with one star and it was the same person as on the posts that didn't have any rating before.
If the person who did this is reading this now, I would like you to explain me why you did it. Because I get very upset when I see that someone doesn't like this blog at all. If you have some constructive criticism for me, say it! But if this was just to annoy me, then please

Just an idea...

How do you think it will look if I make a banner with all of my favorite graphics on it instead of only one? At least I think I need a new banner, I have improved a lot since I made that last one!

FlirtyValentine's graphic for banner

I made a graphic for FlirtyValentine's banner. She can add the text herself. Here it is:

The dress is a bit rough at the bottom, I can try to fix it or simply pretend that it's meant to be like that. At least, if you make a banner with a dark or coloured background it won't be noticed. Except for that, there are no big mistakes this time, but no huge improvements either.
I started it yesterday evening, and finished today. I guess it took about an hour or two. First I wanted to use a graphic I had already and just put her face in, but then I realized that I had already added skin shading so it would be a waste of time to erase, and it wasn't that good anyway.

What do you think about it? If you find some more faults, I will edit it and post the updated version later!

A preview of Mandylou4's graphic (unfinished)

Hi guys!
Yesterday (or was it the day before?) Mandylou4, one of BFM's guest writers started writing for ISD and I suggested to make her a banner. Because she is obsessed with Marie Antoinette and her style, I decided that a graphic with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt on wouldn't suit her. So, I started making a Marie Antoinette inspired graphic - and it's not that easy, if you ask me! Here is what I have so far:

I know it's not much, it's not shaded or detailed in any way, but I hope I will finish today or tomorrow!

Mijena15's graphic (updated)

I didn't really like the graphic so I tried to fix it up a bit. The changes are not huge, but it's still better than the previous one.

As you can see, some of the hair has been removed (I used the outline from I-Dressup, but the hair shape looked wrong in this pose), and I've outlined the top so it looks more realistic and added more shading on the shoes. You can't really see it, but I'm afraid to overdo something. Oh, and the skirt has been edited a little bit. Can you see it?

What do you think, should I work more on it?

Hi! I'm now done with Mijena15's graphic. Here it is:

As always, it's full of faults, but I hope you like it anyway! The skirt was really hard to make! And again, I forgot some small details, I might do an updated version :)

And here is a slightly updated version of the other graphic that I finished some days ago. Well, it's not that much - I just added yellow nail polish and my name on it.
